Here is Ljubljana (l-oob-ley-ane-a) City. This is the Dragon Bridge and the picture is my dads favorite picture, as it is even Dads new desktop background on his computer! We also saw a castle that Queen Elizabeth II (Queen of England) went last year to visit.
The town is called Hum (h-you-m) . It is not abandoned, there is a population of 16 people. It is true it is the smallest town in the whole world!
It is in Croatia near a very good restaurant that we went to in the nearby village of Kotle!

Right here is a lamp post. The locks mean that the couple that wrote their names on it were in love. Then the owner of the lock (the couple) would throw their keys into the water.
Here in Croatia the Croatians don't do Halloween. Instead they go to the graveyard and light candles. We went to a graveyard but could not stay there for long because I was sick. They do costumes in February for Carnival.
The graveyards are very crowded on All Saints Eve (Halloween).
The eel looks kind of cool. What do you think? There are so many types of fish in this fish market.
My dad loves sea food so nummy for him but the smell is horrible.
The owners of this place probably put parsley in the eels mouth to look nicer.
The cool sword fish has a long nose.
Back at Linderhof Castle I got a picture of real swans. King Ludwig II loved swans. I also got a picture of the fountain. The fountain goes really tall.
Our life at home is like this. The ice cream truck comes every 2nd Sunday, and the ice cream is delicious! Sometimes we go to a different mall than the one we did the last time. In Rijeka, there are tons of stores. My favorite is the one called Centar Tower. Centar Tower is a big mall with all kinds of stuff. It's the biggest one we have seen. A lot of people come to Centar Tower. I think it is their favorite mall.
Sometimes I make friends but here making a close friend takes years.
Our view is of the Adriatic Sea and the Istrian Peninsula. The Adriatic Sea is a large body of water on the eastern side of Italy. Croatia is the place we have lived in which used to be part of Italy.
The car in this picture is less than an inch away from the wall. Most cars are parked like that. The driving is so bad that we almost got into a car wreck! Right now we don't have a car, but we had gone places earlier in our rental car.
The numbers 1 and 2. Jedan pronounced ye-dan. Jedan is one in Croatian. Dva pronounced da-va. Dva is two in Croatian. Jedan and dva are the first two numbers.
Soccer is the most popular team sport. In Croatia, they call soccer foot ball because you use your feet. Isn't it odd that we call foot ball, foot ball and you usually use your hands. A single national team represents the entire state so you'd have to try your hardest to win! We went to a soccer game last night and we got very good popcorn.
At the soccer game there were about 1000 police (kind of exaggerating). The police wore padded armor and they also checked my jacket to see if I had anything that could harm anyone. I got hurt on the way there so I went back to the house and put a band aid on. The cars usually don't stop for us but there were so many police around the stadium that they stopped very fast for us. Croatia won the soccer game!
There are a bunch of street kitty's. I think there really cute. This morning I saw a cat cuddling with my family's ball, that reminds me that they also have balls in Croatia. We got a Ben10 ball because it was the cheapest.
In this picture, you see a really cute cat. We call the cat Celeste.
Here is how to say blue and green.
"Plava" pronounced pla-va. Plava is blue. "Zelena" pronunced zel-en-a. Zelena is green. Usually girls and boys favorite color is either blue or green. My favorite is blue.
We have a pool near are home in Croatia. I go swimming every Monday,Wednesday and Friday. The water is warm. I love it verlo-dobro that means very well in Croatian.
We went back to Germany and went to a palace that King Ludwig II. I liked all the cool fountains
the castle is called Linderhof. it has lots of fancy rooms. We were not allowed to take pictures because they want to make money for the pictures they sell and so that the walls don't lose their paintings.
We went through a cool town called Oberamergau. We got a picture of the full moon rising up over the Austrian Alps.
Did you know that Gummy bears were originated in Germany. They taste like sugar here in Germany. They also in the hotel we stayed in instead of pillow chocolates we got gummi bears on are pillows.Actually they were gummi sheep but they should both taste they same.
We got a very fun trip to Zagreb. We just got home to our apartment in Croatia. The hotel we went to was very swanky because Zagreb is the capital city of Croatia. We saw statues of very famous people. We love the bakery there. I got a strudel. It was good. The swanky hotel we went to is 5 stars. It was built to be a stop over for the Orient Express which was a train that ran between Paris and Istanbul. The Orient Express was a famous train used by rich people. This is me and my brother at the market.
Today we saw an almost extinct animal Griffon vulture .We got a pretty good picture of the animals.we saw devet of them. That means eight in Croatian. The island we went to is Cres.It was very fun.We went to a bakery I got a jelly croissant. For more info go to:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Griffon_vulture
We went to a beach it was fun it was in Krk.Right here is were we went.We went swimming in the lake it was fun.We got sladoled that means ice cream in Croatian. The ice cream was nummy! mmm
We also went to a Roman amphitheater my brother and dad had a walky-talky tour. Me, my sister, and mom explored the amphitheater
In other amphitheaters they flooded them for ship battles but there was no need to because there was ocean near by. We had lunch at the park near by.
This is the castle Neuschwanstein my family went to.Its another picture of the beautiful castle that mad king Ludwig the II.People thought that he was mad because he kept taking peoples money to build castles. In Germany they call it schloss Neuschwanstein. Schloss means castle in German
Love it? Your in luck because you can post comments.
We have gone to Neuschwanstein castle in Bavaria, Germany, It was super fun. We had a tour of the castle. Now we live in Croatia. We have gone to the city square and got ice cream. Neuschwanstein means new swan castle.
